I finally made a start on my preparations for the France tour today.
My motorcycle boots were cleaned and re-waxed, and a happy hour was spent fitting the intercom into my new Arai helmet. I sort of printed* a hard copy of my insurance certificate, and I adjusted the knee armour in my new motorcycle jeans, so it actually sits in the right place. The linings have been removed from my new jackets and a pile of miscellaneous odds 'n sods is being assembled in the bedroom.**
As the title of today's Journal entry suggests, I really do need to make a list. If I don't, I am very likely to forget something very important. This realisation dawned when I was attempting to connect our printer to the wifi. I needed the wifi password and went to the bureau to get the handy little card. It was in the same drawer as my password, and it was only at that point that it dawned on me to take it!
Today was not totally consumed with holiday preparations. The morning was spent out in the carport stacking the logs that I split yesterday.
I'd like to get more done before I head off, but I think making a list is more important!

* Our elderly Canon printer still works, but it is so old that proprietary driver software is no longer available. This meant that I needed to resort to using 30%'s old HP laptop. The only device in the house that can connect to it.
** Ear plugs, charging cables, registration documents, spare keys etc
